Ability to perform effectively on projects ranging from precision mechanisms to heavy equipment and process piping systems, utilizing machining, sheet metal, welding, casting and forging processes. Proficiency with AutoCAD and CATIA, some knowledge of Pro/E and Solid Works. RECENT EXPERIENCE GD&T CONSULTANT - Easton Sports Inc. Van Nuys, CA - Feb 00 to open Recommend changes to drawings of bicycle suspension system components pertaining to geometric controls and datum specifications. This has resulted in a significant cost savings and improved customer / supplier relations. TRW Space and Technology, Redondo Beach, CA - Mar 94 to present MECHANICAL DESIGN, DRAFTING / DRAWING CHECKER / TRAINER Commercial telecommunications satellite program ASTROLINK Provided checking support for mechanical ground support equipment, optical alignment tooling and flight hardware. Drawings were prepared using Pro/E. Checked drawing packages for ABL program to insure form, fit and function of parts and assemblies. Prepared a drafting handbook. Evaluated drawings and provided training to improve overall drafting quality and consistency. Prepared drawings using CATIA. Checked electro-mechanical drawings for X-ray telescope program. Projects included solar arrays, batteries, and a variety of tools and fixtures. Conducted AutoCAD training for approximately 220 people.
