• Give more scholarships than any other organization except the U.S. Government The Elks Scholarship Program stands alone as the largest private provider in the nation.

• Fund many charitable programs thru the "Elks National Foundation", a perpetual fund with assets of over 200 Million. Last year the "E.N.F." distributed over $11.3 million in support of the "Hoop-Shoot", Scholarships, Veterans services, Drug Awareness, State Major Projects and other philanthropic programs.

• Support the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Youth Activities, and other Elk and local organizations thru monetary and voluntary donations for needed materials and equipment.

• Give millions of dollars to handicapped children in California - Hawaii.

• Conduct the Elk's "Hoop-Shoot", the largest Boy/Girl Sports event in America, with local, state, and national contests which attract over 3 million children annually; over 150,000 in California-Hawaii.

• Support hospitalized Veterans with clothing and other necessities, and sponsor Bingo and picnics on a regular basis for them.

• Sponsor eye examinations and give eyeglasses to thousands of children in California-Hawaii.

• Hold an annual Senior Citizen .breakfast and donate food baskets to the needy families in our area.

• Have annual Easter & Christmas parties, 4th of July and Memorial day picnics for the families in our area.

• Have weekly family night (reduced price) dinners for our members, their families and invited guests.

• Do many, many other good works for family, community and country. And by the way, they have a lot of fun doing it
